Sixth Grade
- Religion: WE are doing the Safe Environment Unit in Religion this week. Today we talked about safe and unsafe touches.
- Science: We are reviewing Chapter 4. We will have our Chapter test on Thursday.Today's homework is questions #1-20 on page 119-120, if it was not completed in class.
- Religion: We started the Safe Environment Curriculum today. We did not get very far today due to the visit from St. Nicholas, but we will finish Self-Safety tomorrow.
- Science: Chapter 4 Assessment on page 139-140, questions # 1-24, if not finished in class. Chapter 4 Test will be on Thursday.
- Religion: Today most of our class time was spent with Saint Nicholas. Tomorrow we will begin the Safe Environment Curriculum.
- Science: Today was our first day of the Safe the Penguins Unit. This is a joint math and science unit with Mrs. Swickey and Mrs. Lassiter. Today we introduced the topic of penguins and their habitats. Then we did an experiment about heat loss/heat transfer using soda and various insulators.
